QUOTATION

A quotation not accepted within 30 days is subject to review. Lillian Jack Design Studio’s prices are based on the time and material costs at the time of quotation. Alterations and revisions that pass the quoted design time for a project will be charged at $75/hour. Design time quoted allows reasonable revision time.

RIGHTS & OWNERSHIP

All services provided by Lillian Jack Design Studio shall be for the exclusive use of the client, other than for our promotional use. Upon payment of all fees, the client shall be entitled to full ownership of all final artwork created during the project.

COMMUNICATION

Lillian Jack Design Studio can be reached by email at any time but may take up to 24 hours in replying. Scheduled telephone or Zoom calls are also welcome.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

The client will make a 50 percent non-refundable downpayment prior to work commencing. The project will be scheduled once the downpayment is received. The remaining 50 percent is payable to Alison Kinghorn, upon completion of the project, and before original artwork is supplied to the client. For larger or long term projects, an alternative payment schedule may be created and agreed upon by both parties.

CANCELLATION

If after the project commences client communication (face-to-face, telephone, or email) stops for a period of 60 days, the project can be cancelled in writing by Alison Kinghorn, and ownership of all copyrights shall be retained by Alison Kinghorn. A cancellation fee for work completed shall be paid by the client, with the fee based upon the stage of project completion. The fee will not exceed 100 percent of the total project cost.

CLAIMS PERIOD

Claims for defect, damages, or shortages must be made in writing within a 15-day period. Failure to make such a claim within the stated period shall constitute irrevocable acceptance and an admission that Lillian Jack Design Studio fully complied with terms, conditions, and specifications.

CONFIDENTIALITY

The client shall inform in writing before the project commences if any portion of any material or information provided by the client or if any portion of the project is confidential.

INDEMNITY

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Lillian Jack Design Studio from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgements, including attorney’s fees and costs, but only to the extent caused by, arising out of, the work supplied by Lillian Jack Design Studio.
